COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Ride of the Brotherhood will receive and store any information you enter on our website, or give us in any other way that personally identifies you, to improve your experience on the website, to help ensure you are legally eligible to participate in raffles for which you are purchasing tickets, and to enable us to contact you should we need to do so. We will be maintaining in our files your name, mailing address, phone number and email address. You will be providing this personal information to us when you purchase raffle tickets, or when you submit comments or questions to us.
USE OF INFORMATION
We use information for personal identification for the purpose of raffle drawings, winner and loser notifications, and prize acceptance/collections. Other instances in which we will use your information include, but are not limited to, verifying you are legally eligible to participate in the raffles for which you are purchasing tickets; responding to requests for purchases, comments, or questions; collecting aggregated site-visitation statistics; and notifying you of new raffle listings.
RELEASE OF INFORMATION
In the event you are selected as a winner of any raffle, it has been determined that you are eligible to receive the raffle prize, and you accept the raffle prize, you hereby grant Ride of the Brotherhood, and any additional prize sponsors that may be involved in the raffle including, but not limited to, the donor of the prize, if it is not Ride of the Brotherhood, the right to use your name and likeness, without prior notice or additional compensation, for the purposes of publication, advertising and promotion. Publication, advertising and promotion includes any medium chosen by Ride of the Brotherhood, or additional sponsors, if any, including, but not limited to, this website, newspaper, newsletter, email or television.
Ride of the Brotherhood will maintain an electronic email list of all raffle participants. We will use that list to notify you about matters regarding current or future raffles we are conducting. We may also share that electronic email list with our third party service providers as described in the "Sharing of Information" section below.
We track user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Ride of the Brotherhood does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (MIME) type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
SHARING OF THE INFORMATION
Ride of the Brotherhood may use any or all of the information we obtain about you to tailor our content to suit your needs and help us and/or potential advertisers to better understand our user demographics. In general, we will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of us, our users or the public. However, we reserve the right the share information about individual users with third parties that help us to administer the website, and those third parties may use such information to contact you with information about current and future raffles conducted by Ride of the Brotherhood or other organizations. You will have an opportunity before you submit your information to us to opt out from having your information shared with such third parties.
Ride of the Brotherhood does not use the information tracking devices known as "cookies".
We take steps to protect the security of your personal information try to minimize the risk of loss, misuse, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized access of such personal information. We use sophisticated security technologies to secure the personal information you submit when purchase a raffle ticket (e.g., your name, geographical and email addresses, and telephone number). Your submission of information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") technology, which is a coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt data before you send it. To support this technology, users must have an SSL-capable browser. SSL is one of the safest encryption technologies available; however, we cannot guarantee that any electronic transfer of information is totally secure..
We are concerned about the safety of children when they use the internet. To participate in any of the raffles on this site, you need to be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum legal age for charitable gaming in your state, province, or country, if different. We are committed to the identification and elimination of information that is determined to be unsuitable for children's viewing. Consistent with the terms and conditions of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.
If you purchase a raffle ticket, we reserve the right to send you communications regarding our raffle program, such as ticket purchase confirmations, changes to raffle circumstances (cancellations, date changes, prize changes, etc.), eligibility confirmations, winner notifications, loser notifications, and any other information relating to the conduct of a raffle which you have entered, which Ride of the Brotherhood, in its sole discretion, deems it necessary to communicate to you. You may not opt out of receiving such communications regarding raffles for which you have purchased a ticket. However, we do offer you the ability to opt-out of all marketing communications from Ride of the Brotherhood relating to upcoming raffles or other events. You will have the opportunity to opt out of future marketing communications by following the instructions contained in the communications you receive. You will also have an opportunity before you submit your information to us to opt out from having your information shared with our third party service providers.
